You will be fine. Put a piece of filter sock in to trap all the small floating debris like a water polishing pad and tomorrow it will look brand new....
Rinse lightly for as long as it takes to run clear. They mean rinse lightly as to not rub together and mash the contents. It contains ferric oxide...
Nice tank man, well done.
Hope that helps and fish only. Personally I wouldn't start a tank without liverock. More the better.
No, he was in quarintine for a few days. Hes in the predator tank.
I just got my first angler a week ago. I'm lucky I guess, mine took silverside chunks from my tongs. He's small, not even 2 inches.
Beautiful tank. The colors are great and really pop. Sorry about the fish loss, it sucks. I noticed an asterina starfish on what looks to be orange...
Thanks todd. My spongodes, starry night and red cap are growing like crazy so I can't wait to get some size on this guy. Nice piece by the way.

Its the quality of ballasts and hardware, pretty sure I said that. Crappy parts thrown together=low end fixture. I don't know how else to tell you...

Thanks guys. I just purchased a complete 150 gallon system for my predator tank and moving my 36 reef into a 55. No more hermits for me. I removed a...
What are the chances of blue leg hermits killing fish?? I've had 2 very healthy fish end up in crab claws. No signs of disease or parasites, one day...
If your looking for longevity then buy quality. If your trying to get some light on the tank super quick then go for it. I just prefer to buy...
That's awesome!! You'll grow anything with that light. The cost is worth the growth IMO. LED lights can't touch that fixture. Growth is well proven...
I'm not a believer in led lighting. 300 is cheap for lighting with a sps tank.
That's another cheap fixture, avoid it. Your looking at a good 300 dollars for a quality T5 fixture with good reflectors, ballasts and hardware....
