Ifit's evaporation, you should not be adding salt, jut RO/DI water. Salt does not evaporate. SO, just add the RO/DI to the sump.

+1 or it could be a bit purple and your water has a lot of yellow. Yellow+purple=brown. Intense high kelvin lighting and GAC can help in that case.
