+1 on that tip. Worse comes to worse maybe some MHs.
But using tap water isn't she taking a chance of having phosphates in her tank? Unless she had good tap water?
Hello and welcome to the 3reef fam. Sorry for your losses but glad you and your family survived Irene.
Nice work you have done. I have never seen 2x4s done that way but hey, if it works for you and you're happy, the fish will be happy too.
I guess being there in spirit disqualifies me huh? :LolLolLol:LolLolLol:LolLolLol
I am running Vertex bio pellets in an SMR1 XL reactor. My tank volume is about 275 gallons total. Nitrates are around 5-10 and phosphates run about...
If you dont have corals you can do a full week blackout also to aid in killing the bacteria also.
They have some nice stuff there.
You gots to be kidding me? Man are they S.O.S.
Hello and welcome to the 3reef fam. I am about 18 hours south of you depending on how you drive. Originally from Lorain.
A customer was setting up a 55 gallon tank and the first fish they put in there was a mandrin.
Thanks for the help. Waiting on his response.
Credit card or acrylic mag float has worked. Thanks I am hoping it will to myself.
Thanks Having the tank built was going to cost about $2500. Materials and cuts will cost me $1250. The sump was $500 because I went with 3/8"...
I did the exact same thing when I first went house shopping.
It didn't. I was in the kitchen refilling the bottle when it happened.
For the Skimmer I will be getting the Reef Octopus Recirculating Skimmer. http://www.aquacave.com/reef-octopus...umps-1136.html
I started building the sump and all was going good until I dropped the Weldon 4 can. But this is what I have done so far....
It's time for an upgrade. I love my 225 gallon reef with all my heart but I am looking out for what is best for my fish, corals, and future stocking....
Just lower that baffle next to the sock. Whatever skimmer you are using just make it high enough to cover the water height requirement.
