Just pull it out with a small cup slowly ...or put a bag in there and shove it in? IMO I don't think it is an issue. taking out or leaving well...
Same thing.....but I do have sand sifting starfish also.
Add a yellow tailed Damsel or a chromie depending on who ya talk to...It is to help with the biological cycle process and it will offer a bit more...
