If one fails..... you'll want to second to turn the water off when it gets to that level. It saved me before.
That seahorse is one of the prettiest I've ever seen.
I'm new here and was just wondering what fish you own that was your favourite... or your top few. Who keeps what?
;D "]Some of my macros.
They can breeze through it very quick. I just keep on moving springs of it around between tanks and replace it when they chew through it.
Are you saying he is super active right now? Like moving stuff all over? Digging like a dog in the yard?
That means I would have had to let go of the rig to take the picture... LOL. I went once.... I did not like the Barracudas. Hubby and I are going...
Heh, that means I have a dirty tank and probably need a water change :-) This stuff grows best in my little JBJ nanocubes. .... and in the absence...
I LIKE that bottom fish. You want a pic of me clung to the rig trying not to be Barracuda chum?
They go everywhere.... I often see them climbing up the glass. A little unsettling when you see that at the LFS. People have had them in their tanks...

Thought I would share some pics of some of the different macros I have.... I'm caving in to the "Pics or it didn't happen" challenge. I started...
I move my rock around all the time to set up new tanks. I just bought a new fish I put in a 10 gallon QT and stole rock from the sump of the seahorse...
Agreed. They aren't accurate as in you can't look at it and say... today I have 0.05, 0.2 or 0.5. But they WILL tell ya when there's ammonia present...
Wouldn't that put a coating on it that could potentially decrease your available output?
When I think my tank is cycled, I test them with a little ammonia. I call it my "Bag-O-Guts" method. [IMG] This was a big fish that was going in...
I clean mine off all the time. I try to do it before the lights come on. I just get a damp/mildly wet cloth and just wipe them clean.
