    how many pounds of LR per Gal?

    I like to use a volume measurement, it better relates to how much you really need. I would fill the tank with about 1/3 of the volume with rock.

    I would just wait until the construction over. Drywalling is dusty! You need to cut, screw, sand several times. It's not worth it in my opinion....

    You have PC lighting? PCs don't really raise the temperature that much, unless there is very little ventilation in the room or within the fixture....

    Just have your heater at 80, so at night, your water will stay that temperature, and in the day, it will rise a few degrees, no big deal.

    It depends. They can be hardy, but temperature plays havoc with coral's metabolic reactions. The coral may eventually recover, or it could be dying....
