    I have the side mount tube type skimmer...motor went bye-bye. Its the little ex-250....but in a 30 gallon tank is it benificial for me to replace...

    Hmmm....I believe the latest test was during the day when the MH lites were on...so I would say 4:00 pm / If this is relevent, I will add this...

    I check the ph (all testing) every other day, unless I see some changes...such as this. Then it is immediate.

    kewl...got it. thanx for the info. I believe it was in a bad spot, it was getting some algae on it, I used a turkey baster(new) to rinse this...
