    Good to see your ammonia and nitrite levels back at zero. A reading of 20 on the nitrate is not really critical as nitrate is a lot less dangerous....

    sand bed depth?

    The norm is generally around 1.5 - 2 inches, unless you plan on setting up a DSB... you'll need 3+ inches for that.
