When I gave up on my 750 I had a 425 and a 250 in the back pointing at each other, it made a small wave effect and everyone was pretty happy.
What is the model number of your pump? Does it have see threw sides?
I had a 750 in my BioCube and my sand was blowing around all the time. I ended up upgrading to a MP10.
