    yeah, 'd just be afraid of it rusting and leaching who knows what stuff is in that metal into the tank! The BRS mesh is pretty cheap.

    yeah, I'd just go get some dry sand(aragonite) from lowes or reef cleaners.org about 35 pounds for about a 2" bed and then buy a cup or 2 of live...
