like said before, it is probably cyano... it will go away with less feeding and more flow, that usually always solves it. I have found that crushed...

well i cant be sure without knowing more about your tank but I would say that it probably is cyano... it usually grows on the glass before the sand,...

cyano can grow on the glass. it wipes off really easy
my guy sells them for 35 for adults... 29 for juveniles! how does your sailfin and the yellow get along, do they fight at all?
