I turn my closed loop pump off during feeding. Only water I have moving is return from the sump.
I would just use one for a pump.

Can't remember if the Jr. will connect via internet but the ACIII and Pro will. That way you can change anything from any internet terminal.

I just got done turning mine off for a week because I had some NO3 problems. Turned it back on with a slower drip rate and haven't seen any problems....

All it take is actually 1 cup of sand and a small piece of rock to start colonizing. It's your money :-/
