    coral life t5-ho fixture

    I would suggest a 4 bulb fixture for the 40 and suggest hanging it about 30" above the sand. Get good bulbs like ATI and Geisemann.

    Fresh air and tank PH

    It does so by letting accumulated CO2 out of the house. The accumulated CO2 dissolves into the tank water thereby lowering the pH.
