    Bad experience so far today

    You said the skimmer overflowed, did the air valve get bumped and it over skim (wet skim) to cause your waste cup to OF then the tank try to fill...

    That tank is not big enough food supply for both. I would go with the Mandrain because some 6lines get aggressive towards other fish.

    Also make sure they are well fed for a while. When tangs go hungry they get aggressive. Put some broccoli or nori sheets in there for them to nibble...

    They may settle down in a couple of days when pecking order are done. Just like a new kid at school. Just keep an eye on them for a few days.

    What size return

    I would go with the larger pump for future expansion (reactors, chillers..ect) You can always dial a pump down with a valve but you can't get more...

    KalkWasser Dosers Click here for a good time.

    I add 3 tablespoons of kalk about every 10 to 13 days. I keep mixing it so I only clean it about every 6 months or so. Mine holds about 1.5 gallons...
