    That 2x 150 w halide outer orbit won't light the bottom of the 120 gallon, let alone a 6ft tank you'd need 3 x 250w HQI (double ended MH) at least...

    There's no need for more than about 2-3" of sand in your tank. Skimmer technology has come such a long way now the DSB is not needed to break down...
