I think the 50 lbs in your sump would be a great start. I would buy dry rock for the DT and drill holes in it for frag plugs. Maybe another 50lbs.
I use baking soda for alk and CaCl from BRS for Ca+. I use their calculator to get my doses and solutions right.
If it is a frag tank you will not need a lot of rock any way unless you plan on having lots of fish in it.
