    Well I am setting it up as intended. There is still that chance that the unexpected happens, however. That's what I want to protect against.

    I think I may place my return on a stand so that if I do lose siphon, there is very little water pumping into the display.

    Not worth the time and effort for a 20 gallon tank, especially with plans to setup a bigger tank down the road. Believe me, I am 100% for drilling.

    Does something like that exist? My thought is to have my return pump plugged into it in the event that a power outage happens and my U-tube loses...
