    Superglue burn or RTN

    Could be because of superglue or possibly some of your body oil. Low flow in the area or even not enough light could also be a cause.

    Skimmate gone...

    Most likely the carbon and GFO are the cause. Make sure and clean your venturi valve expecially where the air intake is to remove salt build up.

    Sorry on the loss. Since it can take months for clams to shows signs of problems I would think it was on the way down long before you got it.

    How hard is it to change end caps?

    Depends on the fixture. You will need to remove the reflector and lights, then you will need to push in the tabs on the end caps so it will slide...

    Beautiful coral Cheryl. Yes I will most likely go LED on all of my tanks in the coming year. Definitely will change time frame is the issue.
