    65g oversized tank stand/ current 35g reef

    Those dimensions are for a 90G. I would go atleast a 6-bulb t5ho on a 90.

    Every system is different. I drop from 12dkh to 9 every two days and Ca drops about 75 a day for me.

    Your nitrates are the real problem. I'd say something died or your over feeding. The water changes should help.

    Another zoanthid problem...

    Maybe zoa/paly eating amphipods as well. i wa reading an article on a blog about how he had three and only ate one type of zoa in his tank.

    Fortunately, the Petco by me seems to be changing the way they stock and order fish. I see max of two tangs in one of the 20GL tanks at a time....

    What do you think looks better?

    I like option one. I love looking down in to my tank. I am also not a fan of canopies. I think they are cumbersome and ugly.
