    Try blowing hard into the air intake. There may be some water in the tubing that is making it hard for the pump to suck air.

    Yep, standard Wal-Mart super glue gel works. I bet I have a couple pounds of the stuff in my system with no ill effects.

    I agree, with a tank that large, your livestock is going to be a big investment. Having two pumps will be cheap insurance against one possible tank...
