    Thank you. Now that it's done I definitely think angled baffles are the way to go. The flow dynamics are just so much better with angled geometry....

    Interesting to hear this side of it. I never thought about algae growth on the outside. I bet you would constantly find snails in the overflow too.

    The water flowing over makes the glass crystal clear and you never have to clean it. I think they are the most amazing tanks I've seen.

    Nice find. Those look pretty mature (for our purposes anyway). It should re-sprout the leaves pretty fast.
