    You should be right at the bottom edge of whats recommended for SPS, but with the wave action the MP10 puts out I think you will be ok.

    Do it at your own pace and add things as you go. when you do add your rock though be sure to get it INTO the sand so it sits right on the bottom...

    I think it would work very well. My tank is also 3 feet long. I have my return pushing some pressure from the other side of the tank and that helps...

    It depends what type of corals you are planning on keeping and if you would be using other pumps to supplement flow. How long is your tank?
