    The coolest idea iv ever had

    Whatever you do - start by putting a magfloat in there before you cap the ends at all. :) Be cool over a headboard or on a shelf.

    I don't recall the alk but I think it was low. I know I could not get over 350ppm calcium with this salt.

    You can see in the pics that the boards are very straight / flat. Since I emptied the tank and rinsed it, the boards on the glass seemed good to me....
