    white veins... what it is?

    I'm not clear on what you are calling the white veins. You have quite a bit of stuff on that rock....

    my new tank has algae

    maybe your live rock is leeching some phosphate that is fueling the hair algae...I just know from reading on here that new tanks will go through...
