ACKKK :o dont use damsels and chromises for cycling. the cycle can be very hard on them it will kill most fish and even if they live can do damage...

i dont think he will do any harm i have a lawnmower and a mandarin they both hop and or sit on the corals a lot and they seem fine from both fish
its a good idea to let your tank mature and get TONS of them in there, a single mandarin can and will wipe out a tank of pods in no time. most do not...

the only ones ive heard about being aggressive are the green ones most of the other colors i have not heard of not much aggressivness in other colors
