That's why I got rid of mine. I've even seen my yellow tang doing the same thing.
Don't recommend that idea. Baby tangs are a gamble when bought. That's my opinion though. Why are you so ademate about a yellow tang?

Too small. Minimum tank size referenced is 75 gallons. I've got a small one in my 55. Will return or, give away when it gets too big. Mines a worker.
