ive read some places say you should have 20 times...if your planning on keeping corals. if its a FOWLR then maybe 10 would be fine? im not an expert...
the only reason lr needs curing is because it will probably have die off from travelling...sponges etc. that piece of sand stone should be like base...
i should hope algae doesnt need calcium! i have chaeto in my fuge but i just started... and im not monitoring my calcium

i did that same thing. the shrimp that is, still nothing.... three and a half weeks later still no ammonia, no nitrite, or nitrate. weird huh?
