it says on the instructions not to use hot water because it could crack the skimmer, i would just use normal temp water and spray it
i think they will be fine, when my BTA moved around my tank he touched some zoas and they turned out fine but i dont know how harsh a carpet anemones...
my brain never opens like that, is this normal?

also i would have your lights on at least 9 to 10 hours, the only times you want to have it lower then that is if your fighting an algae problem
yep, i think the diatoms come when the cycle is done or towards the end
i would get some snails to eat it up
im pretty sure the reason why there showing up is because your tank is new, this happens to every tank that goes through the cycle it will eventually...

how long is the hair algae?
did you acclimate them? One time someone said to me that you didnt have to with snails so when i first got a turbo i just temp acclimated it and...
also i wouldn't go with the sea hair just because it will eat all of the GHA then starve
I had a lownmower blenny and it never went for the hair algae, but if its the early stages a turbo snail would do

im not to sure but i think someone said that it wont work due to the water lvl rising in the skimmer

if i get some limestone from a local rock quarry is this alright to use for LR in a tank?
i used chemiclean red slime remover to get rid of mine, but if you do decide to go with that make sure to aerate your water really well.
