do you have any crabs you want... like a coral banded or arrow crab or cleaner or fire shrimp?
yea they feed off of bacteria in the water column, as well as ammonia and nitrates. But when they are under 3 inches they rely more on the filtering...
what kind of crabs... a chocolate chip starfish may be able to help if the crabs are small enough?
They eat the baby ones... But they r mostly out at night so it's hard for a mandarin to find them in the day
