    RO water is suitable for drinking, its the RO/DI that isn't. I'm not sure of the specifics of what DI resin does that makes it undrinkable though.

    RO/DI filter help!

    Yes, you can run the sink water at the same time. The ro filter uses nothing compared to the amount of water incoming.

    Sounds right, so long as there is an inline ball valve before the ro filter. You should be good to go doing it this way.
