    ok....you may be right....upon further inspection it does look like it has a center body and the legs get thinner towards the end. Its a pretty big...

    just fine....no problems at all yet! The tank is big enough for them to have their own space I think so that helps. Plus they are both kinda small.

    refractometer versus hydrometer

    I used to use hydrometers but they are so inconsistent and inaccurate! I bought a refractometer on Ebay and its amazing. Well worth the $30-$40!!!

    You could do that...if its his carpet and he wont get into any trouble with a landlord/wife or anything. I actually have my tank on a carpet floor...
