That won't hurt unless the return was your sole source of circulation.
Excellent looking tank, looks like a new light to me.
Add salt water in with as your top off water until your salinity reaches where you want. I would shoot for 1.025 since you are keeping an anemone.
Amphipods eat copepods and detritus and will become food for your fish and motile invertebrates.
+1 on the lights, maybe get one with 54W T5 also.
Welcome to 3reef, you have a great plan there.
Very nice
Buy 4 ATI Blue Plus, 1 UVL Actinic White and 1 GE 6500K. Placement front to back, Blue Plus, Actinic White, Blue Plus, GE, Blue Plus, Blue Plus....
Great looking setup. I would definitely get different lights if you are going to have a reef.
I would go with 2. I have 4 in my 75 gallon planted tank and they do well. you will always have some algae to take off the glass but it should be...
Great looking corals, best of luck with the acro.
Very nice, can't wait for my chaeto to take off like yours.

Welcome to 3reef
Look on their site, I know that whatever they use is definitely safe.
At least 8" for the MH, the T5 can lower id the setup allows.
You will need to acclimate the tank to the new lights. 4 hours max to start an then add an hour each week until you get to your current light...
That is a lot of light. You will need to provide LPS and softies shade for them to keep their colors.
You should be able fry whatever you want in there. Watts per gallon was measured for T NO and VHO bulbs.
Great collection you got, but the pics are a little difficult to be sure.;D
