    ive had the torch going on one year. the flow does not seem to extreme over it. it opens fully which tells me it is happy. they can close completely...

    I got 17 buckets of salt for free but.......

    NEVER leave the lid on your salt off when its humid outside! turns into a brick.

    why does this happen with return pumps

    the water is drying up and the salt is encrusting everything inside the pump. if you take a pump out of saltwater run it in freshwater for a few secs.
