    Yeah, I would siphon it off and keep phosphates under control. Cyano requires phosphate for growth, so, if it is growing, you have excess phosphate.

    Dying Zoa colony!

    Hmm... I added some mushrooms to a zoanthid rock and the zoanthids and mushroom growth rates exploded. Seems to be forcing competition for space....

    Dosing observation

    Definitely, spreading out alk dosing and keeping the pH reasonable makes a huge difference IME. You should get a bit more out of it too :)
