If it's in your budget i would recommend a vortech.
Nice skimmer , those bubble blaster pumps are great.
If you transferred your liverock from an established tank there is no reason to cycle it in the first place. Just put all the lr in it and be done.
It should be fine , just let it settle out before you start pumping it into the display tank.

Harlequins will take usually care of them if you are trying to get rid of them.
I would reccomend a vortech if you are really concerned about flow.
I would reccomend buying a kalk stirrer and saving yourself a lot of hassle.
It sounds like theres nothing to skim. Time for some fish.
