Just say no to green star polyps
Yeah, the skimmer will overflow for a while until it breaks in. I like the setup
It should work just fine. Acrylic swells a little once its put in water anyways. If you use rtv silicone it will have a stronger hold than regular...
That's from the carbon, you may want to back off just a little. It can lead to a cyano outbreak
The red sea product is a carbon source I'm sure. It should drop the nitrate and remove some phosphate because of the Redfield ratio. Keep an eye...
Yes. Its not extremely high, but can be seen by testing.
The rock can absorb phosphate in your tank and release it later. This could be the reason you didn't see any for a year, and then bam! Phosphate...
Looks great. Lots of places to put corals for sure. And as stated, more biofiltration.

Quality. I have used many different types of live rock in the past like Fiji, Marshall islands, pukani, kahleni etc. This time around I found this...
If you already have a skimmer why not carbon dose to bring down the nitrates? I have a 29, no sump, no skimmer, no algae, no other...
Nice ;)
People look at me like I'm crazy when I suggest taping a picture on the tank to show them. I haven't tried it, but have read several success stories...
I would suggest a screen cover so no more go carpet surfing.
