    I wouldn't get more then 2 clowns per tank. It doesn't matter how many nems you have. It is survival of the fittest.

    I really have no idea. Clowns tend to use different corals and such as well as hosts. They many not even go to one of your nems honestly.

    You need a very large tank to house even 2 pairs of clowns long term and its iffy even at that point. Number of anemones doesn't matter. Clowns can be very very territorial when threatened.

    First, all of the advice given in this thread is valid for the OP; I don't want to take away from that.

    However, for future readers, there is one way doing something like this is possible (keeping multiple clown pairs and anemones in a tank), but this is NOT something to be done by a beginner. All the fish must be raised from the same clutch of eggs.

    There are a couple builds on R2R and RC in which aquaists have done this.
