    I second the kole tang. Not only do they stay smaller (for a tang), they are a ctenochaetus, or a bristle toothed tang and will eat pretty much all pest algae that can rear its ugly head. These are great janitors, and make a great reef citizen.

    When you buy one, if from a LFS, make sure it eats well and that it's mouth is how it is supposed to be. A non eating Ctenochaetus, or one with a damaged mouth usually won't live very long.

    Do you guys think 2 juvi true perc clowns, one kole tang and one yellow watchman (with or without shrimp) would be a safe and reasonable group for a 55 gallon?
