$1/gal. sale.

several reefers have brought this petco sale to my attention without being able to tell me when this sale begins. I called my local petco here in Manhattan Kansas and they said theirs will start next week. I am not sure if their sale is a nation wide thing, but I figured it would be worth sharing my find. I thought i had started this thread already on my phone earlier today, I may have been mistaking. Hope this information helps someone that is looking to get a tank for a good price.

disclaimer: I am not affiliated with petco. Given the negative customer satisfaction rating of my local store I was apprehensive to investigate the tank sale, but given the margin or error of selling an aquarium and the little skill involved in doing so, I will be checking it out.

I heard the same thing. I live in California and the petco near me said its a nationwide thing

I will need to ckeck that also, up 55 huh! what do you all think about a 55 for a DT? The only thing I don't like about it is I think its to thin, I like building a structure with more of a slope than a wall type with my rock, I like it like this / and not like this I

 

Yeap! the $1 gallon sale started here yesterday, now I will have to decide if I want to stick with the 20 long for a sump/refugium or go and spend another $20 for the tall. decisions decisions.
