    Yeah, I plan on keeping it lightly stocked. I have a generator if necessary though.

    As a rule of thumb for myself, I really don't like inch per gallon rules. I feel that many people live or die by them. I do realize that is good to give a general ballpark but I wouldn't use it past that. Modern equipment and understanding what corals and fish need has greatly improved and continues to improve. This is what makes forums such as this so good. First hand experience is much better than what one person wrote or has had success with. Having a diversity of opinions is awesome because you can see what created success in keeping more fish and what did not.

    Some people rely to much on set guidelines. Of coarse 1:1 is bad but I think if people would calm down and not want to stock so fast it would be more of a judgment call. Its like just stocking you 20 gal with 15 fish because you wanted them all or something. 1:3 sounds about right though.
