    I've been seeing a bunching of post saying "+1." Is this just a way of say good job? It seems like a game otherwise.

    It's your Karma count - I just added to your by the way - now you can click on the little scale looking thing on the left and add to mine.

    It suggests that you agree with the previous comment.

    as in

    "2 tangs in a 10 gallon is a terrible idea, maybe 1 one angel, tops!"

    followed by the next post saying:

    +1

    easily and efficiently indicating that you also agree with the previous poster, thereby indicating that +1 persons has been added to the ongoing and well maintained list of people who also agree with said comment.

    Or at least that's the way I always interpreted it.
