    sorry for all the different threads but one more thing. this is what i am doing to my water as a weekly routine. take 10% of old water out, add new saltwater. premade (real ocean®) than, if salinity is high, take 5% out and slowly mix in treated freshwater. after about a hour after all that, then i add a product called Kent Marine Essential Elements (can you please google that to make sure thats ok). this routine has seem to drastically increase the overall look of my tank. water levels and the corals seem to be much happier and as i have described above, he is now standing tall and pulsing..

    no only a couple of weeks but it sure is a scary sight to see!

    yes it is my first tank , if i suceed i will set up at least a 55gallon in a year

    because you took yours from so far away where as mine was closer. i dont know why it effects the actually size of it but it does. thanks a lot for the info. and should i be worried that i dont have any caroline growing?
