k so i just picked up a 10 gallon tank, filter, hood, and heater. I have some questions that you guys might know. Would i be ok to keep the 25 watt incandescent bulbs that came with it? Im only planning on putting in a few soft corals. I got it for free ;D. Tomorrow im getting live rock and sand so i will post pictures then.

That bulb will do no good. It has the wrong spectrum and very low intensity.
You will need to go with power compact aquarium bulbs or T5HO.

The Corallife mini compact 50/50's will screw right in to the socket and give you more than enough light to grow softies.;D
