You are not intruding. I feel you can help me with trying to answer some questions. You are much more knowledgeable then I am with these creatures.

Sorry, I should have said I don't want to clutter up your thread with Pics and Videos that I took (unless you want me to put them).

I am of course glad to help in any way that I can.

Haven't seem much of the mantis. It's doing work, architectural work with some snail shells. I took the advice and only have the par 30 light currently 12" above the tank. I wish it would come out to adventure, seems to stay in the rock.

it will for a couple weeks IME. It is very stressful for mantis to get "rehomed". He could have actually gone right into a molt.....

Bob didnt come out much at first. Then she got used to seeing me in the office and would start to come out little by little. Also the more it recognizes that you are the source of food, the more they will come out and show off for you,

Bob would come out of her den and watch me with one eye and the dogs with the other! LOL

You're going to love your mantis. I kept a carribean rock smasher (cant remember scientific name) and i LOVED him. Extremely intellegent, i could hand feed mine within weeks, though i did get hit once.
