FINALLY!!! The guy from stomatopod emailed me and said I get first pick between a smithii and a ternatensis he has. I have no idea what to do, but I feel like I'm going to go with the ternatensis.

Well the other night I woke up and rolled over and saw one of my elusive peppermint shrimp in my 36 sitting on a koralia. I quickly jumped up out of bed, got the net, swiped him up and threw him in my 10 gallon. Only two days and there isn't a SINGLE aiptasia left in there. There were some big boys too..

I told the stomatopod guy on Thursday that I wanted the ternatensis he has. He said he would call me. Still hasn't. Getting kind of frustrated. Oh well..another example of how patience is key in this hobby.

Okay I'm beyond aggravated now. I'm pissed off. I tell stomatopod man to call me and he emails me. I email him back I never get a response. Been back and forth multiple times, but I can never stay in touch with him long enough to give him my shipping info. I would just order one from the link I posted earlier, but someone stole my debit card info and I had to cancel it and won't get another one for a week. AND my order from reefcleaners didn't show up..so USPS is on my list now too. Vent done.

    IT'S ON ITS WAY!

I got stick of waiting on stomatopod so I went ahead and ordered one from bluezoo aquatics. They had a smithii and a ternatensis. I got the ternatensis. If it turns out to not really be a ternatensis..oh well! It's a mantis shirmp! It will be here tuesday. Now i just have to find a charger for my camera so I can put pictures up! I changed the tank up a little bit. I have only actinic lights over it with a Tube Nem in there and a couple shrooms. I wasn't sure if the mushroom would make it with such low light, but they have been in there a week and have opened up every morning. I had a 96W PC on the tank. I was worried that this would be too much light. I have read that ternatensis are more prone to shell disease. So..we'll see how it goes!

I thought I would post a couple pics of the tank with the new tube anemone and a couple corals. I also have a small Valentini puffer that a friend of mine gave me. He will be taking a trip to the LFS this afternoon or tomorrow morning though!
