    I started with a 5 gallon, then moved to 20, then 60. If I were to do it all over again, I would say a 29 gallon is the better size to start with, and you will more likely stay with it longer before upgrading. you get a lot more options with a larger setup, and tank is easier to stabilize and maintain.

    29gal is a good beginner size IMO too;)

    i went from 3 gallon to 100 gallon in 2 months :)
