10 gallon seahorse tank is up and running.

I have two black seahorses. They are eating live brine mixed with frozen. They are a pair. Any good ideas for some more tankmates. Will be moving up to a 29 gallon in the future.......

 

small peaceful fish. i would go with like a clown goby or two. neon goby. what all do you have in the tank with them to hitch on? that would be nice to know. and a pic couldnt hurt.

 

im in the making of a video now.....i got artificail planmts and a small rock

 

artificial plants will not keep the seahorse alive very long. the tank needs LOTS of macro algae. places for them to hunt for live foods.

is the small rock live rock?.

seahorses do best when we try to replicate their natural environment.
as far as adding any fish... i would wait till you get a larger tank. 10g for 2 seahorse is pushing it.

how soon are you upgrading?

 

one to 2 months....plus the specimens are petmmen 2-3 inches .....live rock...and their in live brine inside of the plants .....i plan on getting copepods asap and raising some in a small tank
