Ok well I only have room for a 10g in my stand, I think I'm gonna run a 5" over flow in section, a 5" return section and 7" fuge section. First baffle in bubble trap 7" high, second baffle 1.5" off bottom of tank, and 3rd baffle 6" high. Baffle between return and fuge will be 8" high, with teeth cut in one side for flow. Sorry no blue prints, I'm on my phone. Spacing between buble trap baffles will be 1". My tank demensions are 20Lx18Hx12W. Let me know what y'all think. Thanks

Can you show me what you will be doing for the overflow section? I was going to just the the OF go into the fuge, but I think that may cause some problems..

Oh, OK. That's meant to cut down on flow in one spot, I assume?

    sorry. lol.

You have a specific overflow "section" in your sump. It will be T'd off, which will cause it to turn in two directions, left & right, rather than straight. Are you doing this to cut down on flow in the overlow section? In sumps, the overflow section(or oF line) is often loud because of the "banging" or "crashing of water(high rate of flow). That's why you are doing this, correct?

Or if not to cut down on noise, then will each side of the OF line go into its own filter sock?

Well I was gonna let the oF line flow straight down to the overflow "section" while the "t" will flow to the fuge, I was gonna put a sock on the line going to the overflow "section" but to the fuge idk if I'm gonna put one on it...

I see what you mean now. I thought both sides of the T were going to the same place. lol.

Yes, I would T the OF line. One side to the fuge, the other to the skimmer. The return should go right back to the tank. A filter sock can go on the skimmer section, but not on the fuge.

I would say don't use a filter sock in the fuge section. You will get uneaten pieces of food, detrius ect. into the fuge without a filter sock. This will allow the pods to have a constant food supply! :)
