My friend had a 10 gallon under his 55 with no issues.

I went to petco the other day and they said the 1$ / gal sale should be in July all over the US. Thinking of building a 15gal sump for my 29gal tank myself.

Sent from my SGH-i677 using Board Express

Figures! hahaha! maybe I will hold back some and wait to see what Petco does, I rather have a 20 tall. I figure a 10 is to small for all the stuff I plan to put in it.

On to the next phase, getting some baffles cut to fit, I'm so Geico! I hope I can't give the right measurements to the glass company, i'm sure they won't fit exactly, I will more than likely have to put them in there cricked.

I am building a 20 gallon high fuge spilling into a 10 gallon with the skimmer and return, no baffles. I like more of a simple design, which worked for me. Really all you need is a fuge, skimmer, and return section.

Yea! I will probably only have 3 baffles cut for that 20 long, I got the high speed diy bubble scrubber to also put in the refugium, its going to work great :D

Will ain't that something, I had some glass cut for my 20L sump/refugium, picked it up today and it fit fine, towards the top, but as I slide the glass down to the bottom it gets tighter, until it doesn't fit anymore and about 1 1/2 from going all the way to the bottom, what in the world? for all the dumb luck :(

Will made it this far, on the intake side I put my opening higher than most I seen, 3' I did this so I could have a sand/mud bed on the refugium part of it, when the silcone dries I will take it out and test how good the flow is through the baffles. I tell you it was a lot of work hand sanding that glass down to fit, man I miss my power tools :(

hahaha! I didn't even get to test it, my wife decided to vacuum around my work area and hit the tank with it and cracked it, Guess that's what I get for leaving it sit on the floor, back to the drawing board.
