Featherduster is shrinking. We've tried feeding various things, just haven't found the thing of the right size, apparently. Gonna try Reef Roids next.

 

New from yesterday, were told it's a purple-polyped green birdsnest (can't tell under our lights). This is from our local reef club coop, so I hope it makes it. I myself would have picked something easier, but it was my boyfriend's winning ticket and what he wanted to try and several others had already picked over the stock. Hope we don't lose it!

Nice candy canes! Some grow like weeds. I added mine about a month and a half ago. They have grown almost 10 heads now. lol

The Xenia has FINALLY taken off! This was the first coral put in the tank back in I think December. It struggled for a really long time, shrank to almost nothing, and now I suspect it's going to make us regret it finally LOL.

 

norg., it's funny cuz that one tends to drop the food I try to feed it, whereas the other one grabs it immediately, yet this one's growing faster. It's obviously a different kind, much brighter green and shaped a bit differently.

 

very jealous, I like your setup and your pictures turned out really well!

 

Great update, congrats on getting the color back on the favia and on finding a spot that keeps the GSP from growing.

LOL 2in10, I'd rather have that growing than the xenia. It's where it is so it would grow up the overflow. Looks like the xenia is heading that direction, though, but it's too high up to do any good on the overflow!

Oh, and on the featherduster I meant rotifers not reef roids LMAO. They were out of the smaller containers of phyto, I'll have to go back for that when they get some in.

 

The growth looks good. Gotta love how Xenia multiplies!!!
